Located in southwest Colombia, Huila sits between the central and eastern Andes mountain ranges, with the central region known as the Magdalena Valley. The change in elevation makes Huila one of the most unique and complex coffee-growing regions in the country. The most impressive quality behind the coffee coming out of Huila lies in the people who produce it. Huila accounts for almost 20% of the country's production, yet 80% of coffee growers operate on less than 3 hectares.

This coffee has been decaffeinated using the Natural EA Decaf process. Ethyl acetate (EA) is a natural ester found in bananas and fermented sugar cane, and is used as a solvent to bind with green coffee and remove the caffeine. The benefit of the Natural EA process is that it preserves most of the coffee's original flavor while adding fruity notes and complexity to the cup. Aromas of orange, stone fruit and malt. With a soft acidity and a long finish, this is not your ordinary decaf!

Tasting notes
Milk chocolate, mandarin orange, stone fruits, malt
